Tasting Notes

This is a classic Burgundian styled Pinot Noir with a nose layered with subtle tea leaves and wild mushrooms, which is then balanced with red fruits including raspberry, ripe cranberry and cherry notes.

The moderately weighted body is consistent with the aromatic characters of red bramble berry, violates and rose petals. Complexity is created with notes of fresh earth, wet stone and herbal notes, balanced with vibrant tangy acidity, ripe tannins and a toasty finish.

2012 rebel pinot noir Reviews

Andre Proulx | Rating: ****+ | Review Date: August 25, 2017

"The aromas are intense and floral as your nose gets invaded with rich violet. Under the bouquet of flowers you have concentrated raisin, dark cherry and plum. The flavours match the nose with a nice subtle earthiness that is very well integrated. You will be hard pressed to find a Pinot Noir from Ontario of this quality at this price anywhere else."
