2012 REBEL PINOT NOIR
Varietal: Pinot Noir
Vineyard: 57% Shorthills, 30% May-Field, 13% Henry of Pelham
Appellation: Niagara Peninsula
Licensee: $19.41 + HST
2012 was a hot and dry growing season in Niagara which lead to a more concentrated style of Pinot Noir. The moderately weighted body is consistent with the aromatic characters of dark red fruits and subtle earthy undertones. Drinking well now and can be aged for 5+ more years.

"The aromas are intense and floral as your nose gets invaded with rich violet. Under the bouquet of flowers you have concentrated raisin, dark cherry and plum. The flavours match the nose with a nice subtle earthiness that is very well integrated. You will be hard pressed to find a Pinot Noir from Ontario of this quality at this price anywhere else."
