Tasting Notes

A shy nose starts with notes of wet stone and opens up into ripe raspberies and current compote. The fruit is complemented by smatterings of vanilla and toasted hazelnuts.

The palate has a vibrant and powerful entrance. Fresh berries and the rind of a ripe tangerine step in to mellow the dramatic broad strokes creating a complete palate.

The length is great and wine overall has an elegant yet solid structure. Also ready for enjoyment now, but decanting is recommended for the best experience.

2012 incivility pinot noir Reviews

Andre Proulx | Rating: ****1/2 | Review Date: April 28, 2015

"The floral notes are very intense on the nose while cherry takes a back seat to the flowers in your glass.  The fruit in the glass is still very much Dark Cherry and ripe red Cherry but moves even darker than the 2011 with blackberry and violet flavours making an appearance in the glass.  In spite of the hot 2012 summer the grapes were harvested at just the right time (alcohol is 12.5%) giving you a perfectly balanced Pinot that should last in your cellar for 5-10 years."
